Community Projects & Updates

• Wilcove Grating: An investigation is underway regarding potential remedial action for the grating in Wilcove.
• Safety Mirror: The safety mirror has been purchased and is awaiting installation, with a pole being acquired to complete the process.
• Playground Repairs: Repairs to equipment in both village play areas are underway, with materials being sourced.
• Hedge Trimming: Hedge trimming on Pengelly Hill has been completed.
• Highway Issues: Discussions have taken place with Cornwall Highways regarding various issues within the Parish.
• Wilcove Shoreline: An investigation is being carried out into tidying up a strip of land on the Wilcove shoreline between the Wilcove Inn and Beach Cottage.
• Yonderberry Refuelling Jetty: The Clerk is investigating potential amendments to the Yonderberry Refuelling jetty plans, particularly regarding the jetty's position.
• Wilcove Woodland Walk: A quote is being sought for work on the Wilcove Woodland walk.
• Police Incidents: Reported police incidents were reviewed by the Council.

Planning Matters

• Pengelly Park: Plans for 8 Pengelly Park were approved by the Council.

Finance Matters

• Village Planters: Funding of £60 has been allocated to both Wilcove and Antony Village for the purchase of plants/bulbs for local planters, sourced from the Community Benefit Fund.
