Community Updates & Projects
- Wilcove / Antony Playpark: Repairs to the fencing post and treatment of play equipment are currently in progress.
- Antony Church Chippings: An area in the closed churchyard, used as an access path by many parents and children, has been identified as needing remedial action due to being muddy and slippery. The Clerk will follow up with Cornwall Council.
- Antony Phone Box: Work on installing shelving in the phone box is expected to begin soon.
- Cluster Parking Initiative: The Council approved its share of £88.20 for the 6-month Service Level Agreement for the Cluster Parking Initiative.

- St John to Antony New Footpath Proposal: The Council decided not to commit to this proposal at present, citing concerns about funding, work involved, low anticipated usage, and potential maintenance issues.
- Dockyard Missile Incident: Sherryl Murray MP confirmed an incident occurred on HMS Argyll involving a training missile and is awaiting further details and assurance that this will not happen again.
- Pengelly Close Issues: The vandalised road sign has not been replaced. Parking issues have led to verges being damaged, and Cornwall Housing is investigating.
- Village Enhancement Team: Mrs Ferguson has organised a village enhancement team. The Clerk will facilitate the loan of the weeding tools trailer when needed.
- Wilcove Noticeboard: The broken glass in the Wilcove noticeboard needs replacing with safety glass. Councillor Shepherd will source and replace it.
