Key Decisions
- Councillor R W Carter was elected as the new Chairman for the civic year 2014-15.
- Councillor G Shepherds was elected as the new Vice Chairman for the civic year 2014-15.
- The Parish Council agreed with Cornwall Council's proposed scheme for the review of Polling Districts and Polling Places.
Community Matters & Projects
- Memorial Bench: The memorial bench for Councillor S Watts has been received and will be installed soon.
- Solar Farm Application: A decision on the proposed Solar Farm application is still pending. The Parish Council remains in favour of the application despite recent reports in local media.
- Speeding in Wilcove: Due to police inability to implement a speedwatch and residents' disinterest in speed signs, the Clerk will send a letter to all residents concerning speeding vehicles, to be distributed with 'The Advertiser'.
- Traffic Sign Relocation: The Clerk will contact Cornwall Council to explore the possibility of re-locating the 'Not Suitable for Long Vehicles' sign at the Wilcove Village entrance at Pengelly Hill.
- Tregantle Car-Park Containers: The Clerk will investigate the ownership of containers located within the car-park at Tregantle.
- Jetty Extension Application: The planning application for a proposed jetty extension is still awaiting a decision.
- Rame Community Directory: Parish Councillors expressed disappointment with the 2014 edition of the Rame Community Directory for not including information on Antony/Wilcove or St John Parish Councils.
Police Report
- The Clerk reported two crimes in the Antony/Wilcove area: one burglary to an outbuilding and one theft. The Council has requested further information on these incidents.
Planning Applications
- PA14/03337 - Blerrick Water Pumping Station, Crafthole: This application proposes a change of use and extension to create a holiday accommodation unit. Councillors W A Lobb, G Shephers, and R W Carter will view the building before the Council submits a comment.

- The next Rame Cluster meeting will be held on May 27th, 2014, at 7:00 PM in the Village Hall. Members are encouraged to attend if possible.
